Here are few rules and regulations for joining a university for perceiving distance education:

• Students who passed diploma in engineering or B. Sc in any stream from state/ central govt recognized and having mathematics in academics can directly take admission in 2nd year that is into III semester of B. Tech.
• They also have an opportunity to change their branch at B. Tech, if willing to.
• 12th Technical or I.T.I or M.C.V.C or N.C.V.T (should be 2 Years) or equivalent can join any branch in the 2nd year (III semester) of Diploma irrespective of their trade.
• BCA/B.SC (IT/CS/AIT), B.E IN (IT/CS/ET), B.TECH IN (IT/CS/EXC) or equivalent can directly join for MCA 2nd Year.
• Exemptions may be granted in papers, semesters depending on the subjects cleared by the candidate as per the recognized Institutions/College/University.
• Accepted exemptions must be asked while submitting the registration and exam form along with attested copies of certificates, marks sheets and exempted fee.
• Students who are planning to join the same course will be allowed to join the next semester with entry in the same course.
• In such case student has to study at least for two years in the university to award the certificate.
